UFC 207 marchează revenirea mult așteptată a “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey (12-1) pentru un Octagon, ea a dominat cândva ca campioană la femeile cu greutate bantam. Acesta este un alt brawler vs.. meci de tactician, și ar putea merge în orice sens. Werdum a arătat o bărbie slabă împotriva lui Stipe Miocic, iar Cain va căuta orice ocazie să o verifice.
Prezicere: Velasquez îl trimite pe Werdum în două runde. Lovitura lui Cain este superioară lui Werdum, și nu va face greșeala de a-l lăsa pe Werdum să ia lupta la pământ de data aceasta. Velasquez de KO.
Neil Magny (18-5) și Johny Hendricks (17-5) intră în cușcă pentru UFC 207 ca doi dintre cei mai buni greutăți din ligă. Ambii se confruntă cu unele suișuri și coborâșuri în sport în ultima vreme, deși. Magny a avut o serie de victorii de trei lupte oprite de Lorenz Larkin în ultima sa luptă, în timp ce Hendricks a pierdut trei din ultimele sale patru lupte. Hendricks este departe de sinele său și este departe de zilele de campionat. We discuss Ward vs. Kovalev at length, go off on a few tangents and then get to Tony’s review of “Bleed For This.” We then go back to MMA for Rich’s commentary on Miesha Tate telling Dana White, “FU, you’re not my boss..” after his request that she go to the hospital after her fight with Raquel Pennington. Tate retired earlier in the evening after a stellar career. Rich also gets going about the fighter union front and some new developments with Georges St. Pierre, Ex-Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney, Cain Velasquez, T.J. Dillashaw and other UFC notables breaking new ground in the niche with the founding of the Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association. We also manage to preview the upcoming weekend’s boxing schedule before the end of the broadcast tonight.

Tom, Tony and Rich get back to action this week to discuss upcoming fight cards, including two big MMA events: UFC Fight Night Dos Anjos vs. Ferguson and Bellator 163: McGeary vs. Davis. We preview both events and talk about the matchups. We then move to the boxing schedule where there are multiple belts on the line this week all over the globe. We spend a bit of time discussing the big Manny Pacquiao bout against Jessie Vargas. Is Manny fighting for the right reasons? Does he have enough left in the tank? We’ll know the answer Saturday night. Rich also breaks down his suspicions about vocal UFC fighters trending toward starting some type of powerful fighters union. Could the astronomical selling price of the UFC actually be the main handicap for the new owners? Did putting such a high premium on the UFC unintentionally give griping fighters more incentive to sue the company? Only time will tell.

We chat about Tyson Fury doing cocaine, Josh Samman’s possible drug overdose death, Donald Trump and Mike Tyson talking about rumors that Trump had an affair with Robin Givens, and some high profile rockers and other celebrities buying into the UFC (Flea, Adam Levine, Anthony Keidis). We also recap UFC 204, headlined by an epic five round battle between Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping.
