Undercard action continues with a pair of 10-round contests as Daquan Arnett (14-1, 8 KOs) takes on Yudel Jhonson (17-2, 9 KOs) in a super welterweight showdown while undefeated heavyweight Wes Nofire (18-0, 14 KOs) goes up against Cuba’s Yasmany Consuegra (17-2, 14 KOs).
Also entering the ring, in an eight-round lightweight contest, is 23-year-old Brooklyn-native Dennis Galarza (10-1, 7 KOs) who takes on 27-year-old Mexican brawler Hugo Partida (26-6-2, 16 KOs) while undefeated 20-year-old Chicago-product Jose Quezada (8-0, 5 KOs) faces Tennessee’s Donnell Logan (11-18-2, 6 KOs) in a six-round super lightweight affair.
Rounding out the night of fights is 26-year-old Jeff Souffrant (1-1) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida in a four round welterweight bout against Miami’s Gregory Moore (1-0) and Puerto Rican super welterweight Alex De Jesus (21-1, 13 KOs) in a six-round bout.
At just 23-years-old, Rodriguez has been on a fast track towards a world title fight since turning pro in 2012. On November 25 he makes his U.S. debut after taking down Gabor Molnar, Luis Hinojosa and Alex Rangel in 2015. The Manati, Puerto Rico-born fighter will bring his exciting style into the ring against his toughest test to date when he fights on November 25.
Undefeated in his first 18 pro fights, Aquino looks to bounce back from a narrow majority decision loss to undefeated Adam Lopez in his last outing. The 28-year-old hadn’t gone the distance since 2012 before his last bout, having stopped seven of his previous eight opponents. Born in Higuey, Dominican Republic, he will be fighting in the U.S. for the second time as a professional.
The 22-year-old Arnett was an accomplished amateur who won a 2009 Junior Olympic Championship. Born in Winter Park, Florida, he has taken down previously unbeaten fighters Jeremiah Wiggins, Brandon Quarles and in his last outing, Joshua Conley. He looks to make it four in a row on November 25.
A Cuban boxer fighting out of Miami, Johnson won a silver medal at the 2004 Olympic games. He began fighting professionally in 2009 and won his first 12 pro starts. The 34-year-old took down Norberto Gonzalez and Lenwood Dozier in 2014 and began 2015 with a victory over Pablo Munguia.
A Cherokee-citizen born in Oklahoma and training out of Miami, Nofire will look to make a mark when he faces his toughest test to date on November 25. The 28-year-old has picked up victories in 2015 over Joell Godfrey and Sylvester Barron and has stopped six of his last seven fights inside the distance.
Born in Cuba but fighting out of Miami for several years, Consuegra returns to the site of his last victory, a March triumph over Taurus Sykes. The 31-year-old has picked up victories over veterans Byron Polley, Santiago De Paula and Stacy Frazier since turning pro in 2010.

Oxnard, California’s Centeno has long been one of boxing’s top prospects with victories over Ayi Bruce, Keandre Leatherwood, Angel Osuna and Gerardo Ibarra. In December 2014 he faced his stiffest test to date against James De La Rosa and passed with flying colors, scoring a spectacular fifth-round knockout. Most recently, the 24-year-old took down Lukasz Maciec in September and looks to finish the year with another strong performance.
Fighting in his hometown of San Antonio, Barrioslooks for his seventh victory of 2015 rauHlis ntuj nqeg 12. The 20-year-old hopes to build on his momentum after winning his first eight-round bout over Enrique Tinoco on November 10.

BILOXI, MISS. (November 13) – In a telecast showcasing four fights that lasted a total of 13 rounds with 11 knockdowns and four knockouts, boxing fans were treated to a night of sensational Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Spike action from the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Miss. The evening culminated with an unforgettable all out war between light heavyweights Edwin Rodriguez thiab Michael ntsaws ruaj ruaj.
Rodriguez came out swinging from the first bell, dropping Seals in the first 30 seconds of the bout with a hard left. Seals hit the canvas, got back on his feet and dropped Rodriguez not even 30 seconds later. Nrog 10 seconds to go in the first round, Seals dropped Rodriguez again, putting round one in the running for “Round of the Year.”
Both combatants were slightly cautious coming out of their respective corners in the second round, but it was Rodriguez who dropped Seals with a right hand late in the round and continued to hurt him with punches heading into the end of round two. The fight was stopped 24 seconds into round three when Rodriguez pounded Seals with a right hand that sent him thundering to the canvas causing the crowd in Biloxi to go wild and putting the bout in the conversation for “Fight of the Year.”
Rodriguez said of his performance:
“Seals was really tough. I knew he was tough going into it, but he proved it hmo no. He threw hard punches, but I did what champions do. I got back up. Anyone can go down in a fight, but its if you get back up and how you get back up that matters. Sh*t happens. You just have to keep on fighting. Just like in life – you have to be able to get back up.
“He caught me with some good shots, but in the end, I was able to finish him off.
“It was a great fight. It feels great. We were both in tremendous shape. My hat goes off to Michael Seals. We gave the fans a great show.”

Seals, who complained of dislocating his shoulder following the punch that first sent Rodriguez to the canvas, is hungry for a rematch saying:
“Every time I threw my jab it landed, but I dislocated my shoulder in the first round. I had him with my punches. If I had all my tools, there is no way he could have beat me.
“I had him beat in the second round. I know it. I felt like the ref was going to stop it. If he stopped it with me, why didn’t he stop it with him?
“It was a great fight. He is a tough guy. I want a rematch. Please give it to me.”
In the quick, yet action-packed televised opener that saw three knockdowns in less than two rounds, Thomas ❏ Jr ❏ Hmong/Williams.scored an exciting second round TKO over Humberto Savigne in a light heavyweight showdown.
Williams Jr. asserted his excellence to begin the second round, knocking down Savigne with a series of punches. Savigne was able to make it to his feet only to be backed up against the ropes as Williams Jr. continued throwing flurries of punches that caused referee Keith Hughes to wave off the match in minute 1:48.
“I’m very happy with my performance,” said Williams Jr. “I haven’t been in the ring in 11 months and I was ready. It felt a little different. That played a small part into me getting knocked down. I came back and fought someone with a lot of power. For me to come back and fight a fighter like him shows a lot.
[On being knocked down in the first round] “I wasn’t paying attention. I wasn’t sticking to the game plan. I was trying to set something up and I got caught with a right. I was very surprised. It woke me up. He caught me going the wrong way. Threw a shot. It didn’t hurt me. It woke me up. I said ‘It’s time to go to work now.’
“I knew he was going to get cocky after he knocked me down and of course I took advantage of it.”
After what he felt was a promising start, Savigne credited the quick ending on abandoning his game plan.
“In the first round I felt like I was controlling the pace of the fight. There was a flash knockdown and I got right back up and knocked him down. I just got a little bit desperate. I went to slug him and should have maintained my distance.
“The problem was, I got desperate. In my last couple of fights, I haven’t been able to focus.
“I ended up making weight, but we missed our flight coming here and my whole schedule was thrown off. Not an excuse, but it definitely played into my performance hmo no.”
Unbeaten welterweight prospect Bryant Perrella got an opportunity to showcase his skills as part of the Spike telecast and did not waste a moment making an impression. Seconds after the opening bell tolled, Perrella (12-0, 10 KOs) landed a crushing right to the body of Chaquib Fadli, sending him to the canvas, resulting in a first round TKO.
“I’m just happy I got the job done,” said Perrella. “We did what we had to do – adjust, adapt and take care of business. This is my time and my destiny. Nothing is going to stop me from achieving my dreams.”
In the fight immediately before the main event, powerful middleweight Fernando Guerrero scored an exciting 7th round TKO over Brazilian puncher Daniel Souza Santos in an action-packed fight that saw fists flying from the opening bell. But it was a quick barrage of punches that sent Souza Santos to the canvas. Despite being able to stand, the referee waved off the bout.
“For me, this fight was all about preparation,” said Guerrero. “When you go through trials and tribulations, you grow as a fighter and as a person. I have the best team around me now. I’ve been eating, breath and living boxing and it showed hmo no.”

A Cuban amateur national champion, the 29-year-old Barthelemy has yet to taste defeat since turning pro in 2009. Born in Cuba but now fighting out of Las Vegas, he won a super featherweight world title in July of last year by defeating Argenis Mendez in impressive fashion and followed that up with a second round TKO over Angino Perez. Most recently, he defeated former world champion Antonio DeMarco in convincing fashion in a PBC main event in June.
Having fought in eight countries throughout his pro career, the 30-year-old Shafikovbrings a full career of experiences with him into his second world title opportunity onHlis ntuj nqeg 18. Born in Miass, Zog ntawm Guj kuj, he enters this fight having won three in a row by taking down Rustam Nugaev, Miguel Mendoza and Roy Mukhlis.
A native of Shymkent, Kazakhstan fighting out of Las Vegas, Shumenov looks to build on his last fight, which saw him earn a cruiserweight crown by defeating B.J. Flores in July. The 32-year-old won a world title at light heavyweight by defeating Gabriel Campillo in Las Vegas in 2010. Tus 2004 Olympian for Kazakhstan went on to defend his title five times and will return to the scene of his latest triumph on Hlis ntuj nqeg 18.
A two-time world champion in the cruiserweight division, Warsaw, Poland’s Wlodarczyk looks to win a world title for a third time in his career at cruiserweight. The 34-year-old owns world title-winning victories over Steve Cunningham and Giacobbe Fragomeni. In his last world title reign Wlodarczyk defended his belt six times, including victories over Danny Green, Rakhim Chakhkiyev and Francisco Palacios.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, Pearson has impressed with strong victories over Steve Martinez, Said El Harrak, Lanardo Tyner and previously unbeaten Acacio Joao Ferreira in four fights before he defeated Janks Trotter in September. The 24-year-old looks to continue to rise within the junior middleweight division and cement his contender status on Hlis ntuj nqeg 18.
A highly-regarded prospect who won the 2012 National Gloves championship, the 21-year-old Davis has already recorded four stoppage victories in 2015. Most recently, the Baltimore-native stopped former world champion Cristobal Cruz with a vicious combination in their October fight.

“This guy [Michael ntsaws ruaj ruaj] is undefeated. That’s one challenge. His mentality. He doesn’t know how to lose. I need to come out and convince him that he can. That’s the first battle. You need to convince them, it’s time for you to lose now, I’m better than you.
“He has a good jab and good power. I need to be aware that he can punch.
“I have a nutritionist that I see every three weeks. I couldn’t make weight when I was going to fight Andre Ward. Making weight takes a lot of dedication.
“Going into my fight with Andre Ward, my mentality was changed. You already lost to the scale before you even stepped in the ring. It’s your body telling you that you can’t make weight, you can’t do it anymore. It does bother you.
“I refuse to blame my loss on anything. I think he was a better fighter that night. I’m trying to make my mark at 175 and maybe down the road, I can get a rematch against him.”

“Fighting so close to home means everything to me. This is the biggest fight of my career and I’m going to take advantage of this opportunity.
“My whole life, I feel like I’ve been destined for greatness and this is my chance.

Hardy, who returns to the ring on Saturday, Hlis ntuj nqeg 5th, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, on the undercard of the eagerly anticipated world middleweight championship showdown between Daniel Jacobs and Peter Quillin, is in talks with the sportswear company to officially become part of the Under Armour Women’s team that includes such superstar athletes and female figures as Gisele Bundchen, Lindsey Vonn, Misty Copeland, Brianna Cope and Kelley O’Hara.

Hardy is quickly closing in on her first world title opportunity, but first she must take care of business against a familiar foe, Noemi Bosques (10-3-2, 2KO's) when the undefeated female star steps into the ring on Hlis ntuj nqeg 5, in what will be her fourth consecutive performance at Barclays Center. Hardy and Bosques fought at the Brooklyn arena in May, with Hardy winning an entertaining eight-round split decision. Hardy felt there was no question that she won the fight, and is out to prove there is no doubt who is the better fighter when the two meet again on the 5th.
“I hate doing rematches because it’s so redundant and I already beat you. It was a split decision though, so in her mind she feels like she can come back and beat me. I didn’t want to deny her that, because we put on a great show for the fans. People at the fight knew I won the fight and that it was a clear decisive win, but when people see ‘split decision’ there are always questions that arise because she is such a good legitimate fighter. I’m giving her another chance.”

MIAMI (November 7, 2015) – Kevin Bizier (25-2, 17 KOs) stopped Fredrick Lawson(24-1, 20 KOs) after 10-rounds of toe-to-toe action on Premier Boxing Champions(PBC) rau NBCSN Rau hnub Saturday night from Miccosukee Resort and Gaming in Miami.
Lawson’s corner stopped the fight after the tenth round as Lawson indicated that his jaw may have been broken. Bizier pressured Lawson throughout the fight and hurt him with powerful right hands.
In the fifth round, Bizier landed one of those powerful rights perfectly on Lawson’s head and sent the previously unbeaten fighter to the canvas. Making his U.S. debut, Bizier wore Lawson down and never allowed his opponent to get into a rhythm.
In the co-main event, Nicaragua’s Walter Castillo (26-3-1, 19 KOs) thiab Keita Obara(14-1-1, 13 KOs) fought to a majority draw in a back and forth battle that appeared to have been won by Japan’s Obara.
Making his U.S. debut, Obara used his length and numerous well-timed right hands to stifle the attack of the aggressive Castillo. The Nicaraguan Castillo came out of the gate with a strong second round when he hurt Obara on the ropes with multiple flurries.
Obara appeared to be the fresher fighter in the later rounds and threw sharp punches while controlling the fight with his movement. Castillo was able to send Obara into retreat mode at moments late in the fight with his all-out barrages, but still took plenty of punishment for his efforts.
Castillo was bleeding from his eye, mouth and ear at different moments throughout the 12-round affair. The final judges totals were 115-113 for Obara and 114-114 twice.

“My plan was to stay close, not let him breathe and it worked. I put too much pressure on him.
“I was surprised. He’s not a puncher like his record would indicate. He hit me well, but never hurt me. I never felt tired or any pain. In the tenth round I was still very strong.

“I would definitely fight him again. I would like to have a final decision over who the winner was. If he will fight, I would love to.”

“It’s my fault for not knocking him out. I don’t agree with the decision, but it’s my fault in the end because he was still there at the end of 12 muab suav.
“I landed good punches on him, but none were knockout punches. I knew to beat him here I would need to get the knockout and I did not get it.
“It was really fun and exciting to fight in U.S. Before the decision was read I was having the time of my life. Now I’m disappointed in the decision.
“I would fight him again if the arrangement were made.”
