Houston’s Charlo, one of the most exciting young champions in the sport, delivered on his promise that he would close the show in spectacular fashion after going the distance in his previous two bouts. “I’m looking forward to spending the Christmas holiday with my family, taking a month off, and then we’ll work on what’s next for me.”

He also owns victories over current 130-pound champion Rene Alvarado and Robinson Castellanos.

“Colbert is a good fighter but he’s not ready for what I can do in the ring,” Said Corrales. “I’m going to show that I’m still one of the best in the division.
