LOS ANGELES - På torsdag, December 10, Bellator MMA presenterar en efterlängtad världstittelkamp med en sammandrabbning av obesegrade flygvikter, som mästare Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (11-0) försvarar sitt 125-pund mästerskapsbälte mot Brasiliens Juliana Velasquez (10-0) vid Bellator 254. Evenemanget sänds live på CBS Sports Network från Mohegan Sun Arena i Uncasville, Conn.

LOS ANGELES — The Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix resumes Thursday, November. 12 with two quarterfinal matchups set to take place, som mästare Patricio “Pitbull” (30-14) defends his title against Pedro Carvalho (11-3), medan Daniel Weichel (40-11) och Emmanuel Sanchez (19-4) square off in a battle of former title contenders. Legendary Dutch fighter Melvin Manhoef is one of the most feared and violent striking specialists in all of combat sports. Med 29 av hans 32 career victories coming by way of knockout, “No Mercy” boasts one of the highest knockout percentage rates of any MMA fighter with at least 15 segrar. Manhoef has collected victories over iconic names in the sport, including Mark Hunt and Kazushi Sakuraba, throughout an illustrious career dating back to 1995, when he earned the first of many knockout victories at only 18 years of old. LOS ANGELES— Bellator MMA is proud to announce that undefeated, highly touted prospectUsman Nurmagomedov(11-0) has signed an exclusive multi-year, multi-fight contract with the ViacomCBS-owned promotion.

Unbeaten to start his mixed martial arts career, a run that has taken place in regional promotions around the globe, the younger cousin of Khabib Nurmagomedov has been lauded by those close to both fighters as an elite talent that is capable of eclipsing the current world champion. Training under the tutelage of Javier Mendez at American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose, Calif. as well as Khabib’s late father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov in Dagestan, Ryssland, Usman has utilized his stellar wrestling and Muay Thai credentials to breeze through his first 11 professionella tävlingar, with finishes in all but one outing.

“With today’s signing of Usman Nurmagomedov, we are making it clear that Bellator is home to the best fighters on the planet and an organization where the sport’s future stars are coming to compete,” Bellator President Scott Coker said. “I am thrilled to have Usman join the promotion and he will be placed in an immediate position to showcase his skills and contend at 155-pounds. Nu, the 29-year-old Stockholm, Sweden-native will look to collect his 10th career win and add to an already impressive resume that includes eight career finishes and has earned him the nickname “The Future.” Hailing from Paris, Frankrike, the 35-year-old Emmanuel Dawa will be making his promotional debut on his home turf inside the Accor Arena on October 10. (September 25, 2020) – Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions (RJJ Boxning) and the debut of the newest mixed-martial-arts promotional company, iKON Fighting Federation (iKON), presented its inaugural hybrid professional boxing/MMA show last night at Biloxi Civic Center in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Five undefeated boxing prospects were showcased with each emerging victoriously. In the main event, undefeated Tampa welterweight prospectMark Reyes, Jr. (13-0, 11 Kos) knocked out his Mexican opponent, Carlos Mohamed Rodriguez (13-9-1, 5 Kos), in round four for his eighth straight fight that didn’t go the distant.
