Wildly popular Russian fighter Yandiev (9-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) immediately opened his title fight challenge with a powerful right-handed punch that floored defending champion

Alexander “Iron Capture” Butenko (42-12-2, M-1: 9-2-0). Yankiev relentlessly attacked veteran Butenko, firing more than 60 unanswered strikes on the fallen Ukranian veteran, until the referee mercifully halted the fight at 1:65 do primeiro turno.

A three-time Bellator champion, Shlemenko (54-9-0. 1 NC, M-1: 4-0-0) derrotou o ex-campeão do M-1 Challenge Vyacheslav Vasilevsky last year in the M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship semifinals and championship final, respectivamente, by three-round majority decision and third-round submission (afogador). Former Ring of Combat champion Bradley (23-7-0, M-1: 0-0-0) will be making his M-1 Challenge debut, contudo, he’s a seasoned MMA veteran having fought in the UFC, Strikeforce, Bellator e World Series of Fighting.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Janeiro 23, 2017) – Undefeated M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko will now be challenged by fellow Russian Maksim Grabovich, who has replaced injured Shavkat Rakhmonov, Março 3, em M-1 Desafio 75 em Moscou.

M-1 Grand Prix middleweight champion Alexander “Tempestade” Shlemenko (54-9-0. 1 NC, M-1: 4-0-0),the three-time Bellator champion, será a atração principal M-1 Desafio 75 against an opponent to soon be announced.

Kunchenko (15-0-0, M-1: 7-0), lutando fora de Tyumen, Rússia, is a Muay Thai specialist who captured his M-1 Challenge welterweight title belt last April at M-1 Desafio 65, when defending titlist Murad Abdulaev aposentado durante a quarta rodada.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Janeiro 19, 2017) – M-1 Global has announced that 2016 M-1 Grand Prix middleweight champion Alexander “Tempestade” Shlemenko será a atração principal M-1 Desafio 75 em Moscou.

It has also been announced that American lightweight Keon “The Black Assassin” Caldwell will make his M-1 Global debut versus former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divnich.

Shlemenko (54-9-0. 1 NC, M-1: 4-0-0), a three-time Bellator champion, derrotou o ex-campeão do M-1 Challenge Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (see picture above with Shlemenko on right) last year in the M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship semifinals and championship final, respectivamente, by three-round majority decision and third-round submission (afogador). Shlemenko vs. Vasilevsky I & II were the M-1 Challenge 68 & 64 Fights of the Night.

In a much-anticipated All-Russian middleweight showdown, Shlemenko was supposed to fight reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev, who was unfortunately injured during training camp, forcing him out of that match. Vasilevsky replaced Emeev against Shlemenko in the championship final.

Undefeated M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko (15-0-0, M-1: 7-0-0), da Rússia, will defend his title against an opponent to be announced, due to originally announced Kazakh challenger, invicto Shaukat Rakhmonov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), withdrawing due to a knee injury.

Russian welterweight prospect Sergey “Lutador de rua” Romanov (10-1-0, M-1: 3-0-0) faces Russian veteran Magomed “A White Wolf” Sultanakhmedov (18-5-0, M-1: 10-1-0) no M-1 Desafio 75 cartão.

Caldwell (11-3-0, M-1: 0-0-0), lutando fora da Geórgia, is the US-based Island Fights champion. A powerful puncher who has nine knockouts in his 11 pro victories, Caldwell was supposed to compete in the 13^th season of The Ultimate Fighter, but he withdrew due to personal reasons. He has had several fights in World Series of Fighting.

A Ukrainian fighting out of Moscow, Divnich captured the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title in 2014 em M-1 Desafio 54, paragem Dzhambulat Kurbanov in the third round on punches in the Fight of the Night. Em 2015, Divnich lost his first title defense by third-round knockout to Mansour Barnaoui em M-1 Desafio 57. A strong Ukrainian with superior wrestling skills, Butenko (42-11-2, M-1: 9-1-0) is an eight-year MMA veteran who has found a welcomed home in M-1 Challenge competition and he has taken advantage of the opportunity. Riding a six-fight win streak, the 29-year-old Butenko captured the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title belt last June at M-1 Challenge 67, when he took a five-round unanimous decision over Artiom Damkovsky.

Butenko’s first title defense will be against one of the most popular MMA fighters in Russia, the fighting powerhouse Yandiev, who also is a strong wrestler, plus a solid Judo background. The rising lightweight star will be a certain fan favor because of his nationality as well as his style of fighting, resulting in first-round endings in all his pro fights to date.

Last June at M-1 Desafio 68, Yandiev used an armlock for a first-round submission of Tony Christodoulou, fought at a 177 ½ lbs. catchweight.

Like Butenko, Branchuk (21-6-0, M-1: 1-2-0) also fights out of Ukraine. The 25-year-old fighter is a former M-1 Challenge bantamweight title challenger, who was riding an eight-fight into his last fight, in which he lost by fourth-round submission (afogador) to the aforementioned Vitruk (see accompanying picture to left). In M-1 Challenge competition, Branchuk defeated Antun Racicone year ago, by way of a three-round split decision at M-1 Desafio 64.

Benkaci (13-7-0, (M-1: 2-1-0) is a grappling specialist from France. Known and highly respected for his great conditioning and endurance, he lost a disputed three-round decision in his M-1 Challenge debut to Nikita Chistyakov 1-½ anos atrás, but the talented Frenchman bounced back to knockout his last two opponents, Vadim Malygin eAlexey Naumov, respectivamente, by knee and punch.

PETERSBURG, Rússia (Janeiro 9, 2017) – A serious knee injury requiring surgery has forced undefeated Kazakhstan challenger Shaukat Rakhmonov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) to withdraw from his first title fight, Março 3 against unbeaten M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko (15-0-0, M-1: 7-0-0), da Rússia, em M-1 Desafio 75 em Moscou.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Janeiro 5, 2017) – Prospecto meio-médio quente Sergey “Lutador de rua” Romanov está treinando forte para arruinar o retorno do veterano russo Magomed “A White Wolf” Sultanakhmedov em uma partida interessante Março 3 no M-1 Challenge 75 na Rússia.

O M-1 Desafio 75 evento principal, apresentando uma batalha de meio-médios invictos entre o atual campeão Alexey Kunchenko (15-0-0, M-1: 7-0-0), da Rússia, enfrenta o desafiante do Cazaquistão Shaukat Rakhmonov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0),foi anunciado anteriormente.

Devido a uma série de ferimentos, Sulktanakhmedov (18-5-0, M-1: 10-1-0) esteve inativo nos últimos cinco anos, desde que ele nocauteou Tyson Jeffries na segunda rodada de sua 2011 lutar no M-1 Challenge 24.

Embora ele não esteja olhando para além de Sultanakhmedov, o lutador russo Romanov espera que uma vitória impressionante sobre Sultankhmedov o posicione para sua primeira chance pelo título do M-1 Challenge contra o vencedor de Kunchenkp-Rakhmonov.

Romanov teve vitórias impressionantes na competição M-1 Challenge, incluindo uma decisão contra o inimigo brasileiro Carlos pereira em outubro do ano passado M-1 Desafio 71, bem como uma paralisação na primeira rodada por meio de socos de Andreas Birgels em junho passado em M-1 Desafio 68.

“Tenho trabalhado na minha força,” Romanov disse de seu campo de treinamento, “porque o campeão na minha categoria de peso, Alexey Kunchenko, é fisicamente forte. Eu preciso me atualizar. Não que eu esteja ansioso por uma luta pelo título, mas eu sempre tenho planos grandiosos, assim, vamos ver como isso vai. Agora, Estou focado em Sultanakhmedov, e acho que minha luta com ele não seria mais difícil do que uma possível luta com Kunchenko.

“Comecei a treinar acampamento com dois treinos por dia, mas me senti mal e decidi cortar para apenas um treino por dia até que logo voltasse ao modo completo. Tenho treinado em casa (St. Petersburg) mas em breve irá para Ryazan para o campo de treinamento de luta livre. Em seguida, Eu vou voltar para St. Petersburgo se prepara no acampamento, e ir para Borovaya para o boxe. Meu oponente é canhoto, então eu preciso de sparrings apropriados, mas os caras do meu acampamento são uma grande ajuda.

“Eu conheço bem o meu adversário, tendo assistido às lutas dele quando era jovem quando era campeão. Agora, precisamos reavaliar ele. Ele era um bom lutador que treina no ‘Gorets’ onde há, em princípio, caras lá que são de nível superior. É difícil dizer que forma ele está agora porque ele não luta há muito tempo. Agora, ele está no auge da idade para um lutador, 32, então veremos. Eu não acho que serei o favorito nesta luta, mas irei em frente apesar de ser o azarão.”
