ST. PETERSBURG, Rusio (Marto 16, 2016) – M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Murad “Hunter” Abdulaev will make his first title defense, Aprilo 8 Je M-1 Defio 65,against undefeated challenger Alexey Kunchenko at Ice Palace Sports Center in St. Petersburg, Rusio.
Abdulaev vs. Kunchenko replaces the rescheduled M-1 Challenge lightweight championship bout between defending champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui Kaj kontestanto Artem Damkovsky due to injuries suffered by both fighters during training camp.
M-1 Global has also announced an M-1 Defio 65 match between former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divinich and M-1 Global debuting Robert Turnquest.
Ramazan Emeev (13-3-0, M-1: 7-1-0), reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, takes on Brazilian challenger Maiquel “Granda Rigo” Falcao (35-8-0, M-1: 0-0-0) en la M-1-Defio 65 Ĉefa evento. MOSKO (Februaro 29, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced its M-1 Defio 64bonus performances, highlighted by co-Fight of the Night awards, along with KO of the Night and Submission of the Night.
Veteran Russian fighter Alexander Shlemenklo (52-9-0), a three-time Bellator champion, won a close unanimous decision over former 2-division M-1 Challenge division Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (28-3-0), De Rusio, in their M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Tournament co-Fight of the Night match (pictured below).
Sharing top honors for Fight of the Night (vidu sube) Estis Pavel Vitruk (13-2-0) #Kontra?. Ukraina Vitaly Branchuk (21-5-0), in which Vitruk won a decision in their M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Semifinals Eliminator match.
Rusa pezegulo Kurban Ibragimov (4-1-0) won KO of the Night honors with his opening-round stoppage of Ukrainian Dmitriy Mikutsa (5-3-0).
Submission of the Night (vidu sube) was awarded to Russian strongman Alexander “Drago” Volkov (25-6-0), who captured the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight championship, for his winning third-round triangle choke Denis Smoldarev (11-2-0), De Estonio.

MOSKO (Februaro 20, 2016) – Veteran Russian fighters Alexander ShlemenkloKaj Alexander Volkov were the big winners in M-1 Defio 64 action last night at Olympic Stadium in Moscow.
Shlemenko (52-9-0), a three-time Bellator champion, returned to M-1 Global in grand style, winning a close but unanimous decision over former 2-division M-1 Challenge division Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (28-3-0), De Rusio, in their M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Tournament match. Shlemenko advances to the championship final later this year to face the winner of the other semifinals fight (Aprilo 8) #?E M-1 Defio 65between reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev (13-3-0) and Brazilian Maiquel “Granda Rigo” Falcao (35-8-0). Emeev was the 2015 M-1 Tutmonda Batalanto de la Jaro.
M-1 Global’s newly signed Alexander “Drago” Volkov (25-6-0), De Rusio, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight championship, defeating Estonian strongmanDenis Smoldarev (11-2-0) by way of a third-round submission via a triangle choke.

M-1 Defio 65 rescheduled from March 4 Al aprilo 8 En St. Petersburg, Russia Due to scheduling conflict

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusio (Februaro 15, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Defio 65 has been rescheduled from March 4 Al aprilo 8 at Ice Palace Sports Center in St. Petersburg, Rusio.
The Ice Hockey World Championships will be held this May in St. Petersburg and Moscow. Many sports venues in St. Petersburg are closed in March due to renovations, resulting in the switched date for M-1 Defio 65.

The winners of Shlemenko vs. Vasilevsky and Emeev vs. Falcao will advance to the M-1 Grand Prix middleweight championship later this year.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusio (Januaro 28, 2016) – M-1 Global’s first event of 2016 is shaping up as a potential blockbuster with the announcement of the second M-1 Challenge bantamweight elimination fight for M-1 Defio 64 Sur Februaro 19 ĉe Olimpika Stadiono en Moskvo.
Antun “Killer” Racic, of Croatia, will face Ukrainian Vitaly Branchuk for right to fight for the vacant M-1 Challenge bantamweight championship. The survivor will advance to the championship round against the winner of the previously announced M-1 Challenge bantamweight semifinal eliminator, also part of the M-1 Defio 64Karto, inter Pavel Vitruk (12-2-0, M-1: 6-2-0) and undefeated Kazakhstan-native Sergej Morozov (6-0-0, M-1: 2-0-0). Vitruk is a Ukrainian-born fighter who lives and trains out of St. Petersburg, Rusio.
The main event pits three-time Bellator champion Alexander “#?Tormo” Shlemenko(51-9-0, M-1: 2-0-0) and former M-1 Challenge middleweight and light heavyweight titlist Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (27-3-0, M-1: 10-1-0) in the semifinals of the M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Tournament.

Branchuk (20-5-0, M-1: 0-1-0) will be fighting in his second M-1 Global event, the first two years ago at M-1 Defio 45, in which he lost a decision to Yunus Evloev. The 24-year-old Branchuk is riding a seven-fight win streak. Known as a strong striker, he has knocked out 10 of his opponents.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

PETERSBURG, Rusio (Januaro 27, 2016) – M-1 Tutmonda prezidanto Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championIvan “Buki” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov #?E M-1 Defio 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui #?E M-1 Defio 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, prenanta decidon deViktor Nemkov #?E M-1 Defio 46. Emeev (13-3-0, M-1: 7-1-0), La 2015 M-1 Tutmonda Batalanto de la Jaro, is a two-time M-1 Challenge middleweight champion. Born in Azerbaijan but fighting and training out of Markaxhkala, Rusio, Emeev originally captured the vacant M-1 Challenge middleweight crown in 2012 #?E M-1 Defio 35, winning a decision over Mario Miranda. Emeev successfully defended his title in a rematch five months later with Miranda, who was stopped via strikes in the third round at M-1 Defio 38.
In his next title defense, Emeev lost his title belt at M-1 Defio 51 as Vasilevsky won by fourth-round stoppage via punches. Seven months later en revanĉo, Emeev defeated Vasilevsky by first round submission (ĉokilo), and the champion defended his title this past December at M-1 Challenge 63, when American challenger Fioravanti Luigi was unable to continue fighting after two rounds.
Falcao may be making his M-1 Global debut at M-1 Defio 65, Tamen, the Brazilian black belt holder is a veteran of 43 professional MMA bouts with 23 #Knoka?to. The 34-year old Falcao split two fights with Vasilevsky and he was stopped by Shlemenko in the second round at Bellator 69.
