LOWELL, มวล. (กุมภาพันธ์ 26, 2016) – Western New England dominated the open class finals of the New England Tournament of Champions, part of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, winning seven of 10 matches last night at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The eight men’s individual open class winners earned spots on Team New England for the 2016 National Golden Gloves Championships, พฤษภาคม 16-21, in Salt Lake City, รัฐยุทา. Team New England includes two of the top ranked boxers in the country, มวยรุ่นไลท์ เอลวิสฟิเกอรัว and light welterweight Jaime Ortiz Rodriguez (repeat NE champion), both members of N.E. open class team champion from Western NE. “In the last 10 ปี,” explained New England Golden Gloves Executive Director Bobby Russo, “we hadn’t been on a good run. Attendance dropped off a little each year. Team champions were Western N.E. in the open class, Central N.E. in the novice class.

NOVICE CLASS FINALS RESULTS FROM LOWELL
LOWELL, มวล. (กุมภาพันธ์ 19, 2016) – Fourteen 2016 New England Tournament of Champions winners were crowned last night in the novice class of 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central produced the most individual winners with seven, followed by Team Western with five, and Team Central had two.
The unofficial fight of the night was between Salem, แม่น้ำหนักนักมวยปล้ำ Kenny Larson (Team Central) and his Dorchester, MA opponent Jarrod LoMax (Team Southern), in which Larson won a three-round decision, 3-2.

In a Central N.E. (Greater Lowell) heavyweight final rematch, due to a round-time issue, Methuen’s Jesus Flores (Canal Street Boxing) defeated Haverhill’s John Roche (Haverhill Downtown Boxing) by the same score as their original match in another thrilling, back-and-forth bout ending a in three-round decision (5-0). The crosstown rivalry between the two gyms and boxers led up to another compelling match with Flores qualifying for วันพุธ night’s open class semifinals of the New England Tournament of Champions.

LOWELL, มวล. (กุมภาพันธ์ 11, 2016) – Team Central had the edge in last night’s novice class semifinals of the New England Tournament of Champions, part of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central had five individual winners, followed by Team South and Team West with three victories and Team North had two. The novice class finals of the N.E. Tournament of Champions will be held วันพฤหัสบดี, กุมภาพันธ์. 18 at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The Fight of the Night was the light heavyweight match of the novice class as Team South’s Henry Ventura (ไม่มีข้อความ. LOWELL, มวล. (กุมภาพันธ์ 5, 2016) – Peter Welch’s Gym in South Boston dominated last night’s Central New England (Greater Lowell) championship final round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, open and novice classes, at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Peter Welch’s Gym had seven winners last night: open – Hyde Park welterweight Jennifer Perella and Brookline light welterweight อับราฮัมโนวา; novice – Dorchester lightweightJonathen DePina และมิดเดิ้ล ไบรอันอเรนซ์, East Boston lightweight Claire Duffy light welterweight, Boston light welterweight Katie Gregory and Franklin heavyweight Jared Gately.

LOWELL, มวล. (กุมภาพันธ์ 2, 2016) – Thirty-eight surviving amateur boxers will compete in 19 scheduled matches this Thursday night (กุมภาพันธ์. 4) the Central New England (Greater Lowell) final round, open and novice divisions, of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
All CNE finals winners will advance to the New England Tournament of Champions, also held at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, ปลายเดือนนี้.
