Marie-Eve Dicaire determined underdog against Claressa Shields in “Superwomen” PPV this Friday Night

MONTREAL (Marzo 1, 2021) – Unbeaten underdog Marie-Eve Dicaire, the reigning IBF female super welterweight World champion, has fully prepared physically and mentally for this Friday night’s undisputed showdown against undefeated WBC and WBO title holder and self-proclaimed GOAT Claressa Shields(10-0, 2 KO).

A tribute to International Women’s Day, “SUPER DONNE: SCUDI VS. DIICAIRE” will be broadcast live in USA on InDemand Pay Per View and streamed live on FITE.TV, and in Canada On Canal Indigo, Campana TV, Shaw TV and streamed live on FITE.TV and YOOP. a partire da 9 p.m. E / 6 p.m. PT, from Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan. Dicaire (17-0), a popular French-Canadian boxer, understands and fully appreciates the significance of “SUPER DONNE”, and what an upset victory would do for her building brand, particularly outside her native Canada.

“I allowed myself to be excited,” Dicaire explained. “I know it is a significant fight, but I made sure I’m focused on the task I need to accomplish and not the outcome of the fight. My strategy is based on my skills. Where she puts her focus is up to her. On my side, I did everything I had to get ready for this fight. And I am!

“I’ve always said that boxing is a passion, and I am happy to make a living out of it,” lei disse. Ma, a me, it is more than that. It is a way to inspire people, to change society’s mentality. L'anno scorso, 2-time Olympic boxing gold medalist Shields, who will be fighting Dicaire at home in Flint, Michigan, signed a multi-year deal with mixed-martial-arts promoter PFL. Her transition to MMA will reportedly happen this year.

Dicaire, ironicamente, was a world amateur champion in karate before transitioning to boxing, in which she has defeated five world champions.

“My karate background has always been a powerful tool for me in terms of mindset and work ethic,” Dicaire commented. “I was built in martial arts and I think it is what made me the strong athlete that I am now.”

Questo Venerdì sera Shields vs. Dicarie will determine the No. 1 woman in the super welterweight division, if not in all of boxing.

Promoters Paco Presents and Fabrica De Campeones to Livestream All-Action Night of Mexican Boxing on September 21, Live on Fite.TV

On Monday, Settembre 21, 2020, co-promoters Paco Presents and Fabrica De Campeones will proudly present “SANTIAGO VS. GARCIA” a five-fight night of world-class professional boxing, livestreamed from Tijuana, Baja California, Messico, su FITE.TV (9 pm ET / 18:00 PT) per appena $6.99.

Nel main event 10 round, WBC #8 bantamweight contender Alejandro “Peque” Santiago (21-2-5, 11 KO) will return to his home base of Tijuana to defend his WBC International Bantamweight Championship against streaking contender Willibaldo Garcia (10-3-1, 5 KO) of Copala, Guerriero, Messico.


24-year-old Santiago has not lost a fight since 2014 (andando 13-0-4, 7 KO) and has made a career out of surprising his favored opponents, often in their backyards. The skillful Santiago first came on the boxing radar by battling to a 10-round draw with then undefeated prospect Antonio Nieves for the NABO Championship. Fighting live on ShoBox: La nuova generazione, Santiago took control over the back half of the fight and many say deserved the decision.

23-year-old Sandoval, already a seven-year professional veteran, is a fan favorite in his hometown of Tijuana. “Chucky” has won 21 straight fights, dating back to 2016. He was last seen scoring an eighth-round stoppage of countryman Javier Alejandro Rendon (poi 10-3-3) in November of last year.


“I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity,” said Sandoval. “I know that it is going to be an incredibly good fight because I have a high-quality opponent. We are preparing very strongly for this fight, despite the challenges since most gyms have been closed. I like to box, show my skills however I also like to brawl. I am preparing to give the fans a great fight and come out victorious!"


20-year-old Villanueva, from Guasave, Sinaloa, has lost just one fight in his last 16. A strong puncher with an aggressive style. Jorge Milhe and Ernesto Amador will be on Spanish commentary. FITE viewers will have the option to watch the biggest boxing fight of the year watch in English and Spanish on their preferred viewing device. The originally scheduled M-1 sfida 91, Aprile 21 a San Pietroburgo, featured M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Khamzat Dalgiev against American challenger Nate “Il treno” Landwehr, has been cancelled. Dalgiev vs. Landwehr will be rescheduled during 2018.

“All of Kazakhstan is waiting for this fight,” Ashimov noted. “I can’t wait because I brought the Interim belt to Kazakhstan and, if God wills, soon I will bring back the undisputed title. I’m fighting a strong and experienced opponent, who I respect a lot, but I will be ready and that will show fight night. ”

 

 

The co-feature is a middleweight showdown between veteran Russian fighter Mikhail Zayats (23-8-0, M-1: 13-5-0) and past M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenger Caio “Ragazzo infernale” Magalhaes (10-4-0, M-1: 1-1-0), del Brasile. Zayats has fought in Bellator, Magalhaes in the UFC. The 31-year-old Doheny takes on former International Boxing Organization (IBO world champion “Machine-Gun” Mike Oliver (26-4-1, 17 KO) in otto round, evento co-presentato. A southpaw like Doheny, Oliver is a familiar figure in Boston having been a five-time New England Golden Gloves champion.
Doheny is a native of Ireland, who has lived in Australia, but he recently resettled in Boston’s predominantly Irish section of Dorchester. He is a five-time Irish National Champion who has more than 150 amateur matches, including a victory over Belfast’s Carl “Lo Sciacallo” Frampton (26-1, 14 KO), who is a two-division world champion as a professional fighter.
Lo scorso dicembre, Doheny traveled to Bankok to fight Thai favorite Pipat Chaiporn (44-10-1) in a International Boxing Federation (IBF) eliminator to determine the No. 1, mandatory contender for IBF world champion Kenichi Ogawa (23-1, 17 KO), of Japan. Doheny emerged with a win by12-round split decision (117-11, 116-112, 113-115).
Against Oliver, Doheny will be risking his undefeated record and IBF No. 1 contender rating, but Ogawa is also a veteran southpaw like Oliver, who is viewed by Murphys Boxing and Team Doheny as a good opponent to better prepare Doheny for Ojawa.

Favorire, a lightweight from New Haven, CT, faces former WBC International bantamweight champion Tacca “Kanyankole” Otieno (31-13, 13 KO)., Reigning UBF All-American super featherweight champion Gonzalez, di Worcester, MA, takes on a fellow unbeaten featherweight prospect, Ugandan Sulaiman Segawa (9-0, 3 KO).
