Filadélfia, PA (Maio 6, 2015)— Banner Promotions is pleased to announce that Alyson DeRenzis has taken first place in the Boxcino Bracket Challenge.
Alyson will take home the grand prize of two ringside tickets to the Boxcino finals that will take place on Maio 22 em Corona, Califórnia, a full roundtrip for two to the finals, complete with a hotel stay and meals for two, as well as a guest invitation to the pre-fight weigh in and post fight press conference. Alyson will also receive two Boxcino t-shirts.

LARANJA, Califa. (Maio 5, 2015) – Middleweight júnior Brandon Adams (16-1, 12 KOs) is returning to a familiar situation. After coming up short in last year’s Boxcino finals and suffering the only loss of his career, the Los Angeles-native dropped down one weight class and fought his way back to the 10-round championship fight.

John Thompson reflects on Boxcino semifinal win and looks forward towards the final on May 22

Newark, NJ (Abril 21, 2015)— Banheiro “Apollo Kidd” Thompson has begun preparations for his Maio 22 Boxcino final bout against Brandon Adams. (17-1, 12 KO).
A luta terá lugar no Sexta-feira, Maio 22 em Corona, California and will live on ESPNSexta-feira Night Fights.
Thompson is in Virginia, training under Kay Koroma and he is looking to win the prestigious tournament against Thompson in the 10-round bout at the Omega Products International Outdoor Arena in Corona, Califórnia.
Thompson (16-1, 5 KO) is coming off a 8-round split decision over previously undefeated Stanyslav Skorokhod on April 10 em Belém, PA.
“I outboxed the guy,” disse Thompson. I focused on what I needed to focus on and that was using my jab. I also focused on not to exchange and bang with him and I did a pretty good job of that.”
“As well as I fought, I do not think that was even my best win.”
Now he looks towards Adams. Adams of Los Angeles has experience in the Boxcino finals as his only loss was to Willie Monroe Jr. in last year’s Middleweight finals.
“I am happy to be in the finals. This is an opportunity that will be the uprising of my career,” continued Thompson.
“Brandon is a brawler. He will have a few weeks to come up with a strategy to beat me.”
Said Thompson’s promoter, Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions, “I believe we are longer, been in tougher and the better boxer. Brandon is a good fighter but I think he is too green. I know he had a brief amateur career and he could be too green for John.”

Connecticut fan favorite, Mexicano-nascido Danny Aquino (17-2, 10 KOs), upset previously undefeated Massachusetts featherweight Ryan “O príncipe polonês” Kielczweski (22-1, 6 KOs) by way of an eight-round split decision in an entertaining co-feature event for New England bragging rights. The aggressive-fighting Aquino kept coming forward throughout the fight, as Kielczweski effectively counter-punched. Neither fighter was remotely hurt in the action-packed clash of gifted boxers.

 

Aquino defeated Kielczweski the one time they fought in the amateurs. “Because of his record,” Aquino commented, “this was the biggest win of my career. It was extra special winning my first ESPN fight, muito. I think my aggressiveness was the difference. He was moving around and I had to keep putting pressure on him to make it my fight, not his fight. I hope this fight will give me opportunities and I’ll take the best.”

Brandon Adams e John Thompson won semifinal bouts in the Boxcino 2015 Jr. Middleweight Tournament while Andrey Fedosov e Donovan Dennis scored impressive stoppage victories in the Heavyweight tournament, as all four punched their tickets to the finals in bouts that took place this past Sexta-feira no Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem.
The bouts were televised live on ESPN Sexta-feira Night Fights.
The show was promoted by Banner Promotions, Inc.
The finals of both weight classes will take place on Sexta-feira, Maio 22 at the Omega Products International Outdoor Arena in Corona, California and will be aired live on ESPN Sexta-feira Night Fights.

Adams took out longtime friend Vito Gasparyan in round seven of their scheduled 8-round bout.
Adams worked very well on the inside as he landed some solid shots to the head and landed to the body nicely. Gasparyan hung tough against his one-time sparring partner but the amount of solid punches began to show on Gasparyan and the bout was stopped 35 seconds into round seven with a badly swollen left ear.
Adams, 155 1/2 lbs of Los Angeles moves onto the finals with a record of 17-1 com 12 nocautes. Gasparyan, 154 lbs of Burbank, CA é agora 15-4-5. Adams will not meet John Thompson.

Dennis landed a thudding straight left that landed flush on the chin of Cojanu and the big man fell flat on the canvas and the bout was stopped 59 seconds into round two.
“I used my speed, quick feet and combinations,” said Dennis. “I saw an opening in the first round and then in the second I came with an overhand left that landed right on the button and he crumbled to the canvas.”
The punch was so devastating that it was ESPN Sports Center top play of the night.
On fighting Andrey Fedosov in the finals, “It is going to be a tough fight and I will have to work harder.”

Just seconds into the bout, Thomas landed a straight left and sent Fedosov to the canvas. Fedosov came back in round three and landed a ripping combination that led to Thomas to a knee and and he did not beat referee Gary Rosado’s count at 1:01 de três rounds.

Filadélfia (Abril 8, 2015)-–Esta sexta-feira noite no Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, o Boxcino 2015 semifinals will take place in both the heavyweight and jr. middleweight divisions. All eight fighters have been training hard for this great opportunity that will be broadcasted live on ESPN Friday Night Fights beginning at 9 PM ET.
All Boxcino bouts are scheduled for eight rounds.

(Abril 6, 2015) – Destaque Leve e Boxcino 2014 Campeão dos leves, Petr Petrov (36-4-2, 16 KOs) fez um forte argumento para uma futura disputa de título mundial com o seu one-sided, vitória por decisão unânime contra o ex-campeão mundial de Gamaliel Diaz (39-12-3, 18 KOs) no evento principal da ESPN “Sexta-feira Night Fights” do Omega produtos Arena Outdoor em Corona, Califa.
