Jim “J.R.” Ross and Joey Varner will call all the action live from ringside, while Jeff Huston will be the ring announcer and fight-week master of ceremonies.
The 10-round main event is a classic match-up of contrasting styles between undefeated Oscar Cantu (14-0, 1 קאָ) and Aston Palcite (21-2, 18 קאָס) for Cantu’s North American Boxing Federation (NABF) super flyweight belt, as well as the vacant World Boxing Organization (וובאָ) Inter-Continental super flyweight championship. Cantu is rated No. 4 (as a flyweight) דורך די וועלט באָקסינג קאָונסיל (וובק), while International Boxing Federation (יבף) Pan American super flyweight champion Palicte is ranked No. 11 by the IBF and No. 15 דורך די וובאָ.

In a pair of scheduled six-round fights, flashy 26-year-old Nichols meets another undefeated opponent, San Diego’s Kevin “קאָ” Ottley (3-0, 2 קאָס), in an interesting match of unbeaten prospects that should propel the winner to the next level of the welterweight division, and constantly improving 21-year-old Moreno takes on Milwaukee’s Mike Fowler (5-3, 2 קאָס) in the former’s eighth fight since turning pro March 20th. Fan favorite Ornelas, 18, will square off in his seventh the eighth fight of his six-month pro career against California bantamweight Jorge Perez (6-4-1, 3 קאָס) in a four-rounder.
Ft. Worth, Texas junior featherweight Jessie Hernandez (7-1, 6 קאָס) is also fighting on the undercard against Sharone Carter (6-1, 2 קאָס) אין אַ זעקס-קייַלעכיק גלייַכן.

Encore presentations will be Friday, אקטאבער. 21 (7 פּ.ם. פּט / 10 פּ.ם. און) and Friday, אקטאבער. 28 (1 אַ.ם. פּט / 10 פּ.ם. און).
The event is the third installment of the “Cancun Boxing” series that will air on CBS Sports Network in 2016. Grand Oasis Cancun the Hotel Complex, Cancun`s ONLY Ultimate All-Inclusive Entertainment Resort, will play host to all events in this ongoing series.
Hall-of-Fame announcer Al Bernstein and Sean Wheelock called the action live from ringside in Cancun, מעקסיקא.

לאַס וועגאַס (סעפּטעמבער 30, 2016) — Late replacement Erik “El Trumpo” רויז upset Hanzel Martinez אין הייַנט בייַ נאַכט ס “Knockout Night at the D” main event in front of another sold-out crowd at the outdoor Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. די “Knockout Night at the D” סעריע, presented by the D Las Vegas and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, is promoted by Roy Jones Jr. (RJJ) Boxing Promotions. Hall Of Fame announcers Jim “J.R.” Ross און על בערנסטין called the action from ringside with Sean Wheelock on CBS Sports Network in North America and internationally via ESPN. רויז (16-5-1, 6 קאָס) replaced Emmanuel Quartey, who was unable to secure a visa, and he was rewarded with a 10-round majority decision victory over fellow Mexican fighter Hanzel Martinez (23-3, 19 קאָס) for the vacant World Boxing Association (וובאַ) International super bantamweight title. “El Trumpo,” fighting out of Oxnard, קאַליפאָרניאַ, put on a clinic, avoiding the lunging Martinez, who was frustrated throughout the fight by Ruiz’ slickness. Martiniz lunged, Ruiz countered and then he slightly moved to the side, avoiding any potential. Defensively, Ruiz was far superior, keeping Martinez off balance through out the majority of rounds. רויז (ר) controlled most of the action in the main event

“I came out here to put on a show,” Vera said after the fight. “I dropped him (ערשטער) with a left-right. The second knockdown I feinted and hit him with a hard right jab. I then turned right-handed because I knew my right was working. I knew I had him.” Las Vegas junior lightweight Randy Moreno cruised to his fifth win without a loss, unloading an unanswered barrage of punches on פאַביאַן “El Suavecito” Alanez (1-1) until referee Jay Nady halted the fight in the second round.
