Irish Heavyweight Sensation Con Sheenan to fight July 28
Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Pipiri 15, 2016) – Six-time Irish amateur champion Cornelius “Con” Sheehan is set to make his Canadian debut against an opponent to be named Rāpare, Hōngongoi 28 at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Ontario.
The bout takes place as part of Lee Baxter Promotions’ “The Next Generation.” Tickets priced at $45, $55 a $65 are available now by calling 416-797-3375. Doors tuwhera i 6:30 pm and the opening bell is scheduled for 7:30.

Born and raised in Tipperary, Ireland, Sheenan made his pro debutJanuary 19 i roto i te Los Angeles, Pērā i, outpointing previously unbeaten Jonathan Rice over four rounds. Since the victory, the 6’5 215 pound 27-year-old has been working hard in the gym and was recently in camp with heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Sheenan, who had an incredible 203-18 record amateur, won six Irish National Senior Division titles and captured 13 total championships. Santa MONICA, Calif. (Pipiri 14, 2016) – The SPIKE-televised "Bellator kickboxing: St. Louis" event on June 24 at Scottrade Center is now complete, with the addition of two fights featuring Bellator Kickboxers Raymond Daniels (11-3) a Keri Melendez (3-1), ko wai e tangohia i runga i Stefano Bruno (23-2-1) a Sarah Howell (tuatahi) aua.
The fights join a main event that features a middleweight rematch between Joe Schilling (27-8) a Hisaki Kato (6-2), who initially competed against one another in a mixed martial arts contest that saw Kato get the better of the kickboxing ace with a “Knockout of the Year” winning superman punch.
"Bellator Kickboxing: St. Louis” will air immediately following the highly anticipated “Bellator: DYNAMITE 2” event LIVE and FREE on Spike at 11 p.m. AND/10 p.m. CT. A native of California, Daniels is one of the most widely known kickboxers in America, having made a splash as both and amateur and professional. “The Real Deal” went 17-0 hei runaruna, ki te iwa knockouts, finishing all 17 bouts in the first round. Daniels made his professional debut in 2007, winning each of his first four fights, three of which ended in knockouts for the 36-year-old welterweight. Daniels was also a competitor at Bellator’s inaugural "Bellator kickboxing: torino " event in Italy this year, earning his first career victory with the Scott Coker-led promotion. The queen of the infamous Skrap Pack in Northern California, Melendez made her first appearance with Bellator during the kickboxing portion of "Bellator: Taipohū 1, " recording a unanimous decision victory over Hadley Griffith in front of her home town faithful. Santa Cruz and Frampton collide in a battle of world champions who mix dizzying speed with incredible output that produces exciting fight after exciting fight. This fight will be the fifth featherweight world title fight presented by SHOWTIME in 2016. The popular Mexican-American Santa Cruz fights out of Los Angeles and won the 126-pound title in a “Fight of the Year” candidate against former three-division champ Apanere Merehe last August at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. It was just the third fight in the featherweight division for Santa Cruz, who has won belts at 118 a 122 pounds while earning a reputation as one of boxing’s most active and exciting fighters. The 27-year-old also holds victories over Cristian Mijares a Eric Morel. He has competed in world title bouts in 11 o tona whakamutunga 13 fights since 2012. After stopping former world champion Kiko Martinez in the fifth round last Feb. 27, Santa Cruz makes his second world title defense in his East Coast debut.
