Televised coverage on SHOWTIME begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT with unbeaten light heavyweight contender “Monsieur” Marcus Browne (18-0, 13 KOs) meeting hard-hitting former title challenger Thomas “Top Dog” Williams Jr. (20-2, 14 KOs) dans une confrontation en 10 rounds. New York, New York, Janvier 24, 2017 - 1.85 million viewers tuned in for the final fight in Tito Ortiz’s storied career, a first round submission victory over Chael Sonnen. This marks the most watched Bellator fight on Spike since last February and the most watched MMA fight on television in 2017.

Warrior’s Boxing’s revived “Windy City Fight Night” continued its growth Samedi night in Chicago, as the largest crowd yet watched a seven-bout card at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago.
In the thrilling main event, Chicago junior middleweight Achour Esho (13-0, 8 KOs) had to survive a nearly disastrous first round to stop crosstown rival Anthony Abbruzzese (4-6, 3 KOs) in three.
Abbruzzese came out blazing in the first, culminating in a sustained barrage of punches that could have easily led to a stoppage. To Esho’s credit, he survived and walked wearily to his stool.

Finding it difficult to trap the elusive Smith, Hernandez still did enough to win a clear unanimous decision by scores of 60-54 deux fois et 59-55.
And in another scorching slugfest, Chicago lightweight Jessica McCaskill (3-1, 2 KOs) pounded out an exciting unanimous decision over battle-hardened Puerto Rican Carla Torres (5-4), now fighting out of Cleveland. Bellator 173: McGeary vs. Des champs

Hailing from Andover, Angleterre, le 34-year-old Liam McGeary (11-1) will make the short trek up to Northern Ireland’s capital for the first time in his career, where he will once again compete in a main event. After competing at middleweight in 2015, the 33-year-old Fields returned to the light heavyweight division, recording a first round submission victory over Dan Konecke at BAMMA 24. Fields has tallied finishes in each of his 11 victoires de carrière, making him one of the most menacing opponents for anyone standing in his way. Now the SBG Ireland product will look to make a splash in his first fight with Bellator MMA, as he prepares for the former division kingpin.

 

Hailing from nearby Straban, Irlande, 20 ans James Gallagher (5-0) is one of the brightest stars in all “The Emerald Island.” At age 15, “The Strabanimal” moved away from home to join Coach John Kavanagh at Straight Blast Gym (SBG), where he now trains alongside the best fighters in the country including Connor McGregor. Having made his Bellator debut in London this past July in London, Gallagher followed up in December with a submission victory over Anthony Taylor in front of a raucous home crowd at the 3Arena in Dublin. Gallagher now takes on Kirill Medvedovsky (7-3) in the co-main event of the evening.

 

Another top prospect from the famed SBG powerhouse, Sinead Kavanagh (4-0) returns to the Bellator cage against 32-year-old Parisian Iona Razafiarison (1-1, 1 Caroline du Nord) in a 140-pound catchweight matchup “KO” Kavanagh, who fights out of nearby Dublin Ireland will no doubt be looking to collect her third knockout on Février 24.

 

BAMMA 28: Parke Vs. Redmond

“Stormin” Norman Parke (22-5-1) from Bushmills, Antrim is no stranger to BAMMA events, as he has been spotted numerous times cornering team mates as part of the Next Gen Northern Ireland fight team. One of Europe’s most sought after free agents prior to putting pen to paper with BAMMA, Parke now goes in pursuit of the coveted BAMMA World Lightweight title.

Paul “Redser” Redmond (11-6) landed a victorious homecoming of his own at BAMMA 26, as Redser took out the double tough Chris “The Menace” Stringer to claim the adulation of his hometown support. Redmond now steps into one of the biggest fights ever announced in Ireland, as he takes on Parke in this hugely anticipated match up.

There will be two days of boxing basics followed by a sanctioned all female boxing show.
The training will be handled by Gleason’s top female trainers and our female World Champions.
The amateur show will be sanctioned by USABoxingmetro. You will need a book to fight.

NEW YORK (Jan. 24, 2017) – SHOWTIME will televise the eagerly anticipated rematch between WBA Lightweight World Champion Jorge Linares and former champ Anthony Crolla sur Samedi, Mars 25 survivre AFFICHER L'HEURE à partir de Manchester Arène à Manchester, Angleterre.

Linares, of Barinas, Venezuela, a gagné 10 combats dans une rangée, including seven by knockout. He became a three-division titlist when he captured the vacant WBC Lightweight World Championship in 2014 with a knockout of Javier Prieto. The 31-year-old defended the belt twice in 2015 with knockouts of Kevin Mitchell and Ivan Cano before being named “Champion in Recess” by the WBC because of inactivity due to injuries. Linares returned following an 11-month layoff to face Crolla in his hometown of Manchester, outpointing the champion 115-114, 117-111 et 115-113 in a back-and-forth and bloody battle. NEW YORK (Janvier 23, 2017) – Boxing journalist Steve Farhood was the special guest speaker at last Tuesday night’s Ring 8 monthly meeting held at O’Neill’s Restaurant in Maspeth, New York.
Farhood is being inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame this June. The popular Brooklynite, is the former editor-and-chief of The Ring and KO Magazine, in addition to being a veteran television commentator, including his current role for Showtime’s ShoBox: La Nouvelle Génération depuis sa création en 2001. En 2002, he received the prestigious Sam Taub Award from the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) for Excellence in Broadcasting Journalism.
“The members of Ring 8 enjoyed what Steve Farhood had to say,” Anneau 8 président Jack Hirsch dit. “He enlightened them about facets of the boxing business many were unaware of.”

Farhood and Duffy are inductees in the New York State Boxing Hall of Fame (NYSBHOF), which is sponsored by Ring 8, while Hirsch is past president of the BWAA.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russie (Janvier 23, 2017) – Champion des poids welters invaincu M-1 Challenge Alexey Kunchenko sera maintenant défié par son compatriote russe Maksim Grabovich, qui a remplacé Shavkat Rakhmonov blessé, Mars 3, à M-1 Défi 75 à Moscou.
Champion des poids moyens du Grand Prix M-1 Alexander “Tempête” Shlemenko (54-9-0. 1 Caroline du Nord, M-1: 4-0-0),le triple champion du Bellator, sera la vedette M-1 Défi 75 contre un adversaire bientôt annoncé.
Kunchenko (15-0-0, M-1: 7-0), sortir de Tyumen, Russie, est un spécialiste du Muay Thai qui a remporté sa ceinture de titre des poids welters M-1 Challenge en avril dernier à M-1 Défi 65, lors de la défense de titlist Murad Abdulaev a pris sa retraite au quatrième tour.
Dans un combat sans titre, Kunchenko a remporté une décision unanime en trois tours sur Eduardo Ramon au M-1 Challenge à M-1 Défi 70 Septembre dernier. Sa première défense de titre était Décembre 5 à M-1 Défi 72, dans lequel Kunchenko a remporté une décision unanime en 5 rounds sur Abdulaev dans un match revanche.
Grabovich (5-2-0, M-1: 4-0-0), se battre contre le célèbre Stary Oskol en Russie, a remporté ses trois derniers combats en plus d'être invaincu en quatre matchs M-1 Global. Sa victoire de signature à ce jour était en juin dernier à M-1 Défi 68, dans lequel Grabovich a remporté une décision unanime en trois tours dans le combat de la nuit.
Dans d'autres combats de cartes principales annoncés, américain léger Keon “L'assassin noir” Caldwell (11-3-0, M-1: 0-0-0) fait ses débuts en M-1 Global contre l'ancien champion des poids légers du M-1 Challenge Maxim Divnich (12-2-0 (M-1: 6-2-0), tandis que la perspective des poids welters russes Sergey “Combattant de rue” Romanov (10-1-0, M-1: 3-0-0) fait face à un vétéran russe Magomed “Le Loup Blanc” Sultanakhmedov (18-5-0, M-1: 10-1-0).
